Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone, born on 5th January 1986 (pronounced as [diPIkaPaduko or [paDuko]), is an Indian acting actress in film. Her main roles are in films that have a predominantly Hindi accent. The awards she has received include three Filmfare Awards. She is the highest paid actors. She features in listings for the country's most renowned personalities; Time named her one of the top 100 influential people around the globe in 2018. In 2018, she received an award called the TIME100 Impact Award in 2022. Padukone had the honor of being the youngest daughter of badminton champ Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born in and grew up in Bangalore. At the age of 13 she played in badminton championships at the national level. However, she left her career in the sport to pursue a new one as a fashion stylist. In the next few years, she started receiving offers to act in films. Her debut acting job was playing Aishwarya, the Kannada protagonist. Padukone later played a duo performance alongside Shah Rukh Khan in her debut Bollywood film, the romantic Om Shanti Om (2007) that won her an award called the Filmfare Award for Best Female debut. Padukone was recognized for her part as the lead in Love Aaj Kal, but then suffered a short loss.
