Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She has also produced films, including Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As a child with her family in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, she had lots of dreams. The mother of her children was a film buff and was able to instill a love of films into her daughter. Paula participated in co-curricular school events, and she was particularly interested in acting. Her classmates and she played together and was a part of the school's productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the location of numerous school productions. She decided to become an actor. She enrolled at the University of Southern California in a summer program and thoroughly loved her time there. She was awarded a three-month project making documentaries for PBS. She started her career as a television production assistant after completing this assignment. Later, she moved on to produce documentaries. Even though she loved her job, she still wanted to become an actor. She began her journey into acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star on love story Hitch. Since then, she's appeared in a number of popular films and television shows.
